Flip Flop Slam opens its beta in the browser

Bill The Dev has opened the beta of Flip Flop Slam (Dép Lào Tuổi Thơ in Vietnam), an online version of a schoolyard game many people in Vietnam grew up with. It is free and plays in the browser at play.billthedevstudio.com/slam-cards, on phones and computers, with nothing to install.

Each player puts a card on the table and takes turns slapping the table. The gust of the slap flips their card; landing it on a friend's card wins that card. One player makes a room and sends the link, and 2 to 4 players can join from their own browser.

The beta is focused on the feel of the slap, the rooms, and how the game holds up on weaker mobile networks. The game is available in ten languages, including English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Thai and Chinese, and asks for no account. Its privacy policy is at play.billthedevstudio.com/slam-cards/privacy.html.

Flip Flop Slam is a game you start because your friends are already in the chat. A link that opens straight to the table is faster than asking everyone to install an app.
